Description

• Chemical process gear pump with stainless steel materials for the industrial sector.
• The helical gears allow a smoother and quieter operation of the pump.
• It is a self-priming pump. That is to say, with the installation empty, the pump is able to aspirate the liquid causing a vacuum pressure in the suction pipe.
• The pump is mounted on a baseplate and attached to a IEC standard electric motor by means of a simple elastic coupling.
• Specially designed for chemical process applications, up to 300ºC depending on materials of construction (o-rings, gaskets and mechanical sealing).
• Great versatility of construction materials (structural parts, gears, sealing elements) for total adaptation to the transfer fluid and/or the environment.
• Suitable for transferring a wide variety of fluids such as alcohols, bases, solvents, acids, oils and many more.
• The pump allows the installation of mechanical seals according to EN12756. Internal component seals or external solutions with single or double cartridge can be mounted, allowing the installation of API plans to modify the mechanical seal environment in order to prevent or reduce a future failure of the mechanical seal.
• The unit integrates a heating/cooling chamber in the mechanical seal area. In addition, other solutions are available for heating the gear casing by means of external electric heating devices.
• This series of pumps can be equipped with a VFD to adjust the performance to the end customer’s requirements.
• Possibility of installation in explosive atmospheres in accordance with ATEX directives.
