Who we are
Bomba Elias is a manufacturer of pumps for the domestic, industrial, heating, swimming pools, submersible, pressure groups and is the market leader in gear pumps. Our main business is the manufacture of pumps and distribution through the main distributors in our country. Together with our distributors the goal is to create a strong B2B that makes us be always growing and constantly innovating.
Today Bombas Elias is a company with a strong presence in the national and international market, consolidated, currently exporting to 43 countries.
Our future plan is to be a national company, with international vision and specialized in manufacturing the products that we have more knowledge and experience. Therefore, quality, innovation, service and customer service are our main objectives.
Currently directed by the founder Francesc Elias, he brings us values such as the culture of effort, enthusiasm and confidence towards the future.
Bomba Elias , our story
1965
Foundation of BOMBA ELIAS.
BOMBA ELIAS is founded by Francisco Elias Burés in a small workshop in Barcelona for the manufacture and sale of gear pumps and accessories for the transfer and handling of fuel oil and liquid fuels.
1975
Relocation to Rubí.
Relocation to a factory located in Rubí (Barcelona) for a brand new business in the field of water pumps (3,400 m²).
1980
Acquisition of STOCKLIN-TACO.
BOMBA ELIAS acquires standardized pumps according to ISO 2858 for the chemical process industry in stainless materials and special alloys.
1986
Acquisition of ALTTUR, S. COOP.
Expansion of standardized pumps according to DIN 24255 and DIN 24256 for general service, thermal fluid applications, electronic speed and pressure regulation systems, and fire-fighting sets.
1992
Inauguration of a new plant in Sant Feliu de Codines (3,500 m2).
1995
Agreement with the Polytechnic University of Catalonia (UPC) for the development of new technologies.
1995
Founding member of Plan Calidad Rubí.
